Fan Service is an Eddsworld short that was produced during Edd Gould's battle with cancer. Within the video is an advertisement for several Eddsworld T-shirts, and a preview of the next Eddisode.

Edd is checking his email (One of Edd's emails reads "where did tord go?" and another one reads "what do I use to make flash?".) and receives a message from someone who wants him to put a dog in the next episode. Edd complains about this, but when Tom gleefully brings in a dog, he quickly changes his mind. He has no idea where he got it from, but the two celebrate anyway until Edd realises that Matt is fatally allergic to dogs. They then see Matt suffering from an allergic reaction, but the two still celebrate. After the credits roll, it shows Matt's grave, with the words "Here lies Matt, I hate you guys" engraved on it.

The incredibly fast credits that repeat themselves read: "Directed by Edd Gould, Created by Edd Gould, Written by Edd Gould, Starring Edd Gould as Edd, Tom Ridgewell as Tom, Weird Fan as themselves, Bown as a Pug (later repeats as Tom Bown), Jamie as a choking victim, Chair as itself, Walls as themselves, Door as handle, Handle as door, Sandwich for Dinner, Horatio Nelson, This is how you waste viewers' time, by simply typing lots of random junk, No Matt is not really allergic to dogs, are you really this dense, In fact he loves dogs so much he wish he could be one or something, Music by Tom because he is super rad and such, Matt's milkshake brings all the boys to the yard and they're like 'it's better than yours', damn right it's better than yours, he could teach you but he would have to charge, Music is still by Tom because he is super rad and such".

Behind the scenes

According to the Eddsworld Documentary, this video was made during Edd's break from the hospital.

  • The dog randomly changes into Tom Bown's clothes when Tom is talking.
  • At the end, there's posters for MovieMakers and WTFuture behind the real Edd.
  • The credits, among other things, claim that "Matt's milkshake brings all the boys to the yard." This is a reference to the song Milkshake by Kelis.
